Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Collins earned his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1981. His undergraduate work was done at Davidson College for a BS in biology.
Laparscopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy alternatives, incontinence, menopause and infertility are some of his special interests. He introduces latest endoscopic advances to Portland thru Legacy's Minimally Invasive Surgery Program and the OHSU Residency Program. New techniques for treating fibroids and heavy periods are under evaluation.
He is past Chairman of the Oregon section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Portland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He serves on Oregon and National subcommittees for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He lobbies for women's legislative issues on both state and federal levels.
His triplets keep him busy but he still finds time for skiing, running and the arts.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary's College in Minnesota, Dr. Dooley received his MD degree from the University of Minnesota. He then moved to Portland where he completed residency training at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1977. He is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Specialty interests include high risk and normal obstetrics, infertility problems, and routine gynecologic care especially menopausal problems. Dr. Dooley is currently Chairman of Portland's Legacy Good Samaritan's Quality Assurance Committee.
Dr. Dooley is married and has three children. Outside interests include running, wine tasting and foreign languages.
Dr. Korman was born in Okinawa, Japan and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed medical school at Tufts University in Boston, and did her internship and residency training here in Portland. She finished her residency at Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1995. She and her husband then went to work on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. During this time she became board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. After seven years of life in the high desert, she relocated back to the Northwest.
Dr. Korman provides comprehensive gynecologic services. She encourages maintenance of health, mind and body via nutrition, exercise, awareness and balance. Her wish is to provide a safe and judgment free place for women to come with concerns, questions, problems and choices.
She loves to be outdoors, running, biking, skiing, and hiking. She also enjoys cooking, baking, art and music. She spends as much time as possible laughing and playing with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Moore came to the mainland U.S. from Honolulu, Hawaii after graduating from high school. She received her undergraduate degree at Stanford University, graduating with honors in human biology. She then attended the University of California, San Diego where she received her MD. After graduating from medical school she made Portland, Oregon her new home. She completed her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991 and became board certified in this specialty shortly thereafter.
Dr. Moore takes pride in providing comprehensive care in obstetrics, gynecology and gynecologic surgery. Special interests include Adolescent Gynecology and the Endocrinology, Physiology and Psychosocial Impact of the Menopausal Years. She is dedicated to participating in clinical investigations of women in various phases of menopause. She is a Principle Investigator for Covance Research, Inc. where she researches various menopausal treatments for women, which facilitate a smooth transition from the reproductive years into the menopausal years while maximizing physical health and a feeling of well being. Dr. Moore is bilingual and is pleased to provide care for Spanish-speaking patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Moore enjoys having fun with her daughter. She volunteers in the Portland Public School System, engages with the community through public speaking, has a passion for "voluntourism," both domestic and international, and finds relaxation in sewing, cooking, biking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Ogryzlo grew up in the Dominican Republic, California and Toronto, Canada. She completed her medical training in Canada: medical school at Queen's University near Toronto followed by a rotating internship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and then her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1998. After practicing for seven years in Longview, Washington Dr Ogryzlo relocated to Portland to be with her husband and joined Portland Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates in 2005.
Dr. Ogryzlo is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and enjoys providing a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services. Her special interests include high risk and normal obstetrics, menopause, urinary incontinence, contraception, adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. In her clinical practice Dr. Ogryzlo emphasizes patient education and encourages her patients to take an active role in their own health.
Dr. Ogryzlo is married and has one son. When not working, she and her husband enjoy active outdoor sports - running, hiking, kayaking and skiing. They also enjoy foreign travel and culture.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Ono attended the University of Minnesota where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and subsequently earned his MD degree there. He interned at Fresno County Hospital in Fresno, California and came to Portland to dobtain his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1975. He went on to become Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1977.
Dr. Ono enjoys all aspects of the specialty. He especially likes high risk obstetrics, infertility treatment, surgery including laparoscopic and microsurgery, routine and different types of gynecological surgery and of course delivering babies.
He finds relaxation in cooking, traveling, skiing and hiking. He is active in community and church affairs, speaking on various topics and also serves on several committeesin the Legacy system. He has been chairman of the Ob-Gyn department in the past. He is married and has both a daughter and son.
Dr. Sang is a first generation Canadian born American but has lived in the Portland area since 1970. She received her undergraduate degree at Harvard University, graduating with honors in biology. Dr. Sang returned home to attend medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating in 1994. She remained there to complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, finishing in 1998. She is Board Certified in the specialty.
Her commitment to women's health care covers the spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology with particular interests in high risk obstetrics, infertility, addolescent gynecology, menopause, incontinence, advanced laparoscopic surgery and the latest techniques in pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Sang truly enjoys getting to know each and every one of her patients on a personal level, taking a sincere interest in their individual health care needs. She is a firm believer in modern medicine but is open minded about alternative treatments and using a holistic approach.When not in the office, Dr. Sang focuses her energy on her two sons and husband, jazz guitarist, Dan Balmer. She enjoys almost any outdoor activity, as well as yoga, cooking, international travel and attending Dan's gigs.

Dr. Van Houten was born and raised in Portland. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, graduating with honors in Bio-Medical Ethics. Following college she lived in Boston, working in research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and completing the Health Careers Program at Harvard University. She returned to Portland to attend medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) where she also earned a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She remained at OHSU to complete her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Long dedicated to the health and care of women, Dr. Van Houten enjoys the breadth of practice encompassing both obstetrics and gynecology. Her areas of specific interest include high risk and normal obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urinary incontinence, vulvar health, adolescent health, and contraceptive management. She seeks to provide women with the knowledge to make informed decisions to facilitate their personal health and well-being.
Dr. Van Houten describes herself as an avid reader, crossword puzzle addict, NPR groupie, and one-time marathon runner foolishly contemplating a second. She and her fiancé are active supporters of the arts and enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking in the Pacific Northwest with their Jack Russell Terrier, Evie Knievel.

A native Californian, Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of California San Francisco. The ensuing ten years she spent working in various aspects of women's health care including gynecology clinics, labor & delivery and infertility programs. This background was an impetus for Suzanne to move her family to Portland in 1990 to pursue a graduate degree as a nurse practitioner. Since finishing her Master's degree at OHSU in 1995, Suzanne has been providing gynecological care to women across the life spectrum.
Suzanne also enjoys spending time with her two lovely daughters, swimming, biking, visiting family, and working on her house.
